Award of Excellence from the Religious Heritage Council of Quebec
The pinnacle restoration project at St. Patrick’s Basilica in Montreal, was awarded on November 6, 2014 the Prix d’excellence du patrimoine religieux du Québec in the category of projects over $ 250,000. Standing out amongst the 14 finalists, the project was considered exemplary in the use of expert knowledge and specialized conservation techniques. St. Patrick’s Basilica, built in 1847, is recognized as a historic monument by the Quebec government and is a National Historic Site of Canada. Other restoration work, led by EVOQ, is ongoing.
