Kuujjuaq Isuarsivik Regional Recovery Centre investment confirmed

The Isuarsivik Treatment Centre offers specialized substance abuse services to Nunavik residents. It was first established in 1994. It was created by the Inuit, for the Inuit. The Centre offers programmes specially tailored to the needs of the Nunavimmiut. Thanks to the investments now confirmed by the various levels of government, design of the new Isuarsivik Centre can move ahead. The new Centre will offer a capacity superior to the one available in its current facility, thus allowing it to better serve all of the Nunavik communities.
