Do not miss the opening evening of ICOMOS Canada’s annual meeting at La Guilde

May 11, 2018

As a partner of ICOMOS Canada’s annual meeting, La Guilde  will welcome us to its newly renovated premises, designed by the EVOQ Architecture team, on May 23 from 5pm to 7:30 pm. Among the highlights of the evening, a presentation by Melissa Mollen Dupuis sharing the importance of the oral traditions of First Nations people through her eyes and her experience as an Innu woman. Melissa Mollen Dupuis is Innu, originally from Ekuanitshit on the North Shore. Through her work with Native Montreal and the First Nations Garden of Montreal, she exhibits and shares the richness of her culture to the public. It is through the visual arts, animation, video, performance and storytelling that she is led to explore contemporary avenues of interpretations of First Nations culture. EVOQ is a proud partner of this event, not to be missed. For more information, visit laguilde.com and the ICOMOS event page
