As part of the ongoing development of our firm, we are looking for an Intermediate Technician in Architecture with strong BIM skills to join our dynamic team of architects. As an Intermediate Technician, you will play a vital role in the design and build process, bringing your BIM expertise to create accurate and efficient architectural solutions. Main responsibilities
- BIM Modeling: Create detailed architectural models using BIM software (e.g. Autodesk Revit) to develop and document building designs, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
- Collaboration: Work closely with architects and project managers to integrate BIM into the project workflow, facilitating effective communication and coordination between team members.
- Quality Control: Review and analyze BIM models to identify and resolve potential problems, discrepancies and contradictions in the design, providing solutions to maintain project efficiency.
- Documentation: Generate construction drawings, technical specifications and other project documents using BIM software, in compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Model maintenance: Update and maintain BIM models on an ongoing basis throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring that they accurately reflect design changes and project progress.
- Training and support: Contribute to the training and support of less experienced team members in BIM techniques and best practices, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- BIM standards: Ensure compliance with company and industry BIM standards, protocols and workflows.
- Customer Interaction: Engage with customers to present BIM-related project updates and resolve any questions or concerns regarding the BIM process.

Your qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in architecture, architectural technology or related field.
- More than 3 years’ professional experience in the field of architectural technology, with particular emphasis on BIM.
- Proficiency in BIM software such as Autodesk Revit and knowledge of other BIM-related tools.
- Strong understanding of architectural design principles and construction practices.
- Knowledge of industry BIM standards and protocols is an asset.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to effectively manage several projects and deadlines.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD is an asset.
- Bilingualism is an asset.
