Wellington Canopy Nearing Completion

More than half a century after its demolition, the historic Beaux-Arts entrance canopy at 180 Wellington St. in Ottawa is reborn and nearing completion. With the help of historic photographs and drawings, Eric Stein and the conservation team at EVOQ were able to closely replicate the original 1927 cast steel and glass design and return this striking feature to the Wellington’s newly restored façade.
