As part of the ongoing development of our company, we are looking for a talented and motivated intermediate or senior technician to join our Northern team at our Montreal office. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of relevant experience and an interest in Inuit and First Nations communities. An interest in and curiosity about projects of various types and natures is an asset.


Main responsibilities

  • Produce drawings, technical documents, and construction documents in accordance with established standards, primarily using Revit software;
  • Participate in all phases of the project, from technical design to site administration;
  • Coordinate plans and specifications with various stakeholders in the construction industry and ensure their consistency;
  • Estimate construction costs and contribute to the preparation of service offers, schedules, and budgets
  • Conduct research on construction materials and systems, and contribute to the selection of appropriate solutions;
  • Identify and resolve technical issues related to assemblies and construction details;
  • Participate in the management of construction documents and site administration;
  • Monitor construction sites, make visits as needed, particularly to affected communities, and ensure that the work complies with the contract documents;
  • Define and monitor schedules in collaboration with clients, the EVOQ team, and project partners;
  • Prepare for and participate in project meetings, including drafting agendas, responding to client questions, and proposing solutions.

Your profile

  • DEC in architectural technology;
  • More than 3 years of professional experience in a similar position;
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and the Office suite;
  • Solid technical knowledge of construction ;
  • Availability and flexible schedule for travel and inspection trips;
  • Bilingualism (French/English) would be an asset, as you will also be required to work with our Ontario office;
  • Proficiency in Bluebeam (an asset).
