As part of the continuous development of our firm, we are looking for a talented and motivated person to fill the position of Intern Architect or Junior Architect to join our northern team at our Montreal office.


Key Responsabilities

  • Create detailed drawings and plans using CAD software such as Revit and AutoCAD
  • Effectively communicate design ideas and concepts to stakeholders
  • Participate in research and analysis for project design
  • Prepare cost estimates and proposals for projects under team supervision
  • Assist the project team during the construction monitoring phase
  • Assist the project manager in coordination with clients, consultants, and other stakeholders
  • Participate in reviewing project compliance with local regulations, building standards, and current codes
  • Conduct site reviews and contract administration
  • Ensure that work complies with contractual documents and/or specifications
  • Attend and contribute to meetings and prepare relevant documents (clear agendas, responses to client questions, draft solutions to encountered problems, etc.)

Your Profile

  • Licensed architect in Quebec or Ontario (OAA or OAQ) or Architectural Candidate
  • 1 to 3 years of professional experience
  • Computer skills: AutoCAD, Revit, Microsoft Office suite, Adobe Acrobat; familiarity with Photoshop and InDesign are assets
  • A driver's license would be an asset
  • Bilingualism (French/English) would be an asset, as you will also be called upon to work with Indigenous communities and our Ontario office
  • General knowledge of sustainable architecture design principles
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work in a team and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Attention to detail and ability to solve problems creatively
