As part of our company's ongoing development, we are seeking a junior architect for the heritage conservation sector of our Montreal office. Main responsibilities

  • Participate in all phases of project development to construction;
  • Assist the project manager in their tasks;
  • Prepare contract/construction documents;
  • Identify and resolve technical issues;
  • Create drawings, specifications, construction documents, technical documents, plans, etc., using Revit software;
  • Participate in technical design, production, and problem-solving of assemblies;
  • Coordinate plans and specifications with other stakeholders in the construction industry;
  • Estimate construction budget costs;
  • Conduct product research and participate in the selection of materials and construction systems;
  • Participate in the management of construction documents and site administration;
  • Follow all stages of a construction site and make visits as needed;
  • Coordinate with clients on certain aspects of a project.

Your Profile

  • Licensed architect in Quebec, an asset or equivalent;
  • At least 2 years of professional experience in the production of contract documents, site experience;
  • Computer skills: AutoCAD, Revit, Autodesk suite, Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat; and familiarity with Photoshop, InDesign;
  • Knowledge of building codes, building envelope design, construction materials, and specifications;
  • Technical knowledge of construction details;
  • Bilingualism (French/English) would be an asset.
