Inauguration of Place Boyer: a former parking lot becomes a green and resilient public space
EVOQ is proud to have contributed to the transformation of Place Boyer, a former municipal parking lot in the heart of Rosemont-La Petite-Patrie, into an innovative, welcoming and sustainable public space.
This project, carried out in collaboration with the Ville de Montréal, is part of a drive to rethink the urban landscape in response to contemporary climatic and social challenges. The new Place Boyer now acts as a sponge, able to absorb rainwater thanks to abundant vegetation, permeable surfaces and a redesigned topography.
This project illustrates EVOQ's commitment to sensitive, sustainable urban design rooted in community needs. Place Boyer thus becomes a model of urban resilience and a lively meeting place for local residents.
