Introducing the Block 2 Redevelopment Building Histories Series

Since 2022, EVOQ Architecture has been the heritage architect on the team led by Zeidler Architecture and David Chipperfield Architects for the Block 2 Redevelopment in Ottawa. EVOQ has led the conservation plan for the Block and its seven individual historic buildings. These buildings will be rehabilitated and integrated into the Redevelopment design’s new structures.

The project will preserve Block 2’s memory as part of its evolving architectural identity. Each heritage building on the Block is an emblem of the site’s heritage value.
