New Leadership brings New Momentum at EVOQ!
EVOQ Architecture is proud to announce the appointment of Roxanne Gauthier as Chief Executive Officer. An architect and partner with the firm, Roxanne knows EVOQ’s every facet: she has risen through the ranks over more than 20 years, built her reputation from within, and forged lasting bonds with teams, clients, and collaborators. She embodies the firm's values—rigour, contextual awareness, and the conviction that architecture must serve the people and communities it transforms. A LEED®-accredited professional, she brings to the role a sharp sensitivity to sustainability and its impact, a perspective central to EVOQ's next phase of growth.
In a sector where far too few women lead major architecture firms, Roxanne’s appointment is even more significant. This appointment is not by chance or symbolic—instead, it is the natural outcome of an exemplary career, deeply rooted expertise, and leadership shown in project after project, year after year.
In her new role, Roxanne will act as a strategic partner and facilitator within the leadership team with a mandate to support EVOQ's vision, guide its teams, and advance the company's growth trajectory with confidence, cohesion, and determination.
"This appointment moves me deeply, and it is with the same passion that drove me at the very beginning of my career that I step into this new role. I look forward to supporting our teams through the social, cultural, climatic, and technological challenges that are redefining the architect's impact, and to demonstrating, once again, that quality architecture makes a real difference in people's lives. Our best work is still ahead of us." — Roxanne Gauthier, Managing Principal, EVOQ Architecture
EVOQ wishes to acknowledge the exceptional contribution of Georges Drolet, who performed the same role with skill, care, commitment, and humility over the past two years. Georges is now returning to an active role within the Heritage & Conservation team, where he will contribute to the practice’s evolution and take on projects that align with his passion.
