Davids Tea

Working with the company founder and his marketing firm, Konstantin Nifakos, one of EVOQ Architecture’s Associate Architects, designed the first prototype store for this well-known chain on Queen Street in Toronto. The original store served as a lab that informed the operational and spatial requirements of the business for future locations. The iconic tea wall, the multi-functional illuminated merchandising units and the brand’s distinctive teal color were all originally developed at this location.

EVOQ has been engaged to develop a fresh interior design concept for a new flagship location at Terminal 1 of Pearson Airport. The updated design, which proposes an evolution of the existing concept and a refinement of several features, aims to reduce visual cacophony and to increase clarity of product presentation in order to facilitate customer traffic and sell-through.
