Le Breton East Flats Residential Project, Phases 4 + 5
The project features two separate 5-storey podiums on the north and south sides, with towers reaching 25 storeys (north) and 30 storeys (south). A landscaped amenity space divides the podiums along the east-west axis, serving as a pedestrian passageway.
The podium design transitions from private to communal spaces, with transparent ground-level areas containing amenities. Both building lobbies are designed as meeting spaces facing active streets and gardens. Weathering steel on the facades and public furniture references the industrial heritage of LeBreton Flats, while balconies echo the striated limestone found nearby.
The landscape design prioritizes environmental sensitivity and energy efficiency, creating an urban campus. Private, communal, and commercial spaces are integrated to foster a sense of community. Pedestrian and cyclist wayfinding is enhanced through varied surface materials and clear separation of transport modes
