As part of our continued growth, we are seeking a motivated and talented intermediate-level Technician or Technologist to join our Nordic Team in Montréal.

The ideal candidate has a minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience and a strong interest in working with Inuit and First Nations communities. Curiosity and openness to working on a wide range of project types are key assets.


Key Responsibilities

Under the supervision of a Project Manager or an Associate, you will be responsible for:

  • Producing drawings, plans, and technical documents using Revit, in accordance with established standards.
  • Participating in all project phases, from technical design through to construction administration.
  • Coordinating drawings and specifications with engineers, consultants, and external stakeholders.
  • Contributing to cost estimates, service proposals, schedules, and budgets.
  • Conducting research on materials, systems, and construction solutions.
  • Identifying and resolving technical issues related to assemblies and detailing.
  • Participating in document control and construction administration.
  • Monitoring construction progress and conducting site visits, including travel to the communities served.
  • Ensuring construction compliance with contractual documents.
  • Collaborating on schedule planning with clients, the EVOQ team, and partners.
  • Preparing for and participating in project meetings, including agendas, responses to inquiries, and proposed
    solutions.

Your profile

  • Between five (5) and seven (7) years of experience in architecture.
  • Excellent proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Strong technical skills in building construction.
  • Availability to travel and conduct site inspections in remote regions, including stays of five (5) to eight (8)
    consecutive days, several times per year.
  • Bilingualism in French and English (an asset, particularly for collaboration with the Ontario office).
