Koffler Health & Wellness Centre - University of Toronto
As part of the renovation of the Koffler Health & Wellness Centre at the University of Toronto, EVOQ Architecture led the heritage conservation works for the building. The mandate included a detailed survey of existing masonry and plaster, the preparation of contract documents for the exterior masonry conservation works, and the coordination of exterior wall composition incorporating hygrothermal analysis results.
EVOQ also managed heritage approvals, prepared the heritage impact assessment and the developed the conservation strategy in collaboration with ENFORM. The team is currently overseeing the contract administration for the full heritage scope of the project.
This project reflects EVOQ's rigorous approach, combining technical expertise with heritage sensitivity to ensure the long-term preservation of a landmark institutional building.
