Dima Cook, Principal and Director at EVOQ, has been a key figure in the firm’s growth, bringing nearly 30 years of expertise in heritage conservation, construction, and project management. Her leadership was instrumental in establishing EVOQ’s Toronto office, where she continues to oversee operations.  Dima’s dual training as an architect and project manager have allowed her to develop a remarkable capacity for organization and strategic planning, two abilities essential in managing complex and long-lasting projects.

Dima is a past president and board member of the Canadian Association of Heritage Professionals (CAHP).  Her commitment to sustainable conservation is evident in her role as co-chair of CAHP’s advocacy committee focused on heritage, adaptive-reuse, carbon and sustainability, and as organizer of numerous CAHP workrooms on the subject.  An influential voice in the heritage community, Dima is a sought-after speaker at National Trust and APT conferences, where she presents on topics such as heritage, climate action, and building reuse. Her contributions to heritage conservation have been recognized through her roles as a jury member for the Lieutenant Governor’s Ontario Heritage Trust Awards.  Since 2014, Dima has served on the City of Toronto Design Review Panel as heritage specialist.
