Clyde Residential Development
The project is modeled on the irregular 2.7-hectare site north of the Queensway in Ottawa, which offers the opportunity to create a densified buffer zone between the existing neighbourhood and future developments to the north - protecting them from the visual and acoustic impacts of the highway.
Outdoor environments are modulated using different levels, volumes and textures. Streets and open outdoor circulation areas are treated with amenities, lobbies, townhouse entrances and retail outlets featuring a variety of treatments and scales.
The location of the park, plaza and towers create a civic space for residents' use and enjoyment. Through the variety of the architectural experience, the project generates an urban microcosm. With maximized greening and meticulous landscaping, the project is designed to be an iconic gateway and a sustainable urban neighborhood.
