ESG-UQÀM Lab Space

UQÀM acquired this previously vacant building located at 1250 Sanguinet Street to house its École des sciences de la gestion (ESG). The building is categorized by the City of Montreal to be of “heritage and architectural interest; outside sectors of exceptional value”.

EVOQ in joint-venture with NFOE have been tasked with designing and implementing a complete renovation and expansion of the building to house the building’s new functional program. This has required a complete rethink of the floor plan as well as the addition of two floors to house the ESG administrative spaces, graduate classrooms and team work rooms. Extensive work is also planned to restore the building envelope.
