Kingston Armoury
The Kingston Armoury is a three-storey stone masonry building constructucted in 1899 and a Classified Federal Heritage Building that is owned and operated by the Department of National Defence. The building has a three-storey central pavilion with two stone masonry chimney towers extending above the flat roof. The consultant team was mandated to investigate deterioration of the tower masonry, including cracking and failed mortar joints, develop a repair strategy and cost estimate, and ultimately produce definitive plans and specifications for the restoration work and provide construction site services.
