UTHC Warehouse

The Ungava Tullatavik Health Centre (UTHC) wanted to consolidate all its storage space into a single warehouse. The 37m x 25m building includes storage areas for medical products, administrative offices and an indoor landing stage, with double-height spaces and a mezzanine. The contractor was free to choose between a prefabricated or conventional envelope to ensure a competitive price. Carried out by public tender, the project included performance specifications for the building envelope, covering doors, windows and external metalwork. In addition, the project had to take account of a future extension above the main entrance hall to accommodate additional offices.
