EVOQ and Makivvik Corporation give a tour of their new housing model

On February 28th, the Minister responsible for Relations with the First Nations and Inuit, Ian Lafrenière, and the Minister responsible for Government Administration, Sonia Lebel, visited the new 4-bedroom single-family housing model (called S4) designed by EVOQ and the Makivvik Corporation.
Accompanying them were Elghy Garcia (EVOQ), Yohann Piché-Nguyen (BPA) and Imad Ilias (Makivvik). The S4 was designed by EVOQ in co-creation with Makivvik’s Construction Division Director, Frédéric Gagné. His participation and knowledge of contemporary Nunavimmiut lifestyle enabled us to design a home adapted to the needs and desires of its future residents.
