The Putep’t-awt (Beluga) Trail
The EVOQ landscape architecture team, in collaboration with Superwise, designed and installed eight cultural interpretation panels along the 2 km-long Putep’t-awt discovery trail, which allows visitors to observe beluga whales on the St. Lawrence River. These panels guide visitors while highlighting the identity and unique features of the territory. This project is part of the larger Putep’t-awt Cacouna Watching Site and Research Center initiative.
Interaction, as well as playful and educational aspects, were at the heart of the co-creation process to provide a unique and historically rich experience suitable for all ages. This trail, nestled in a beautiful maritime landscape, awaits you starting in early July!
