The dawn of something new in Arctic architecture

On January 7th, The Globe and Mail published an article by Matthew Hague entitled, Dawn of something new: How architecture is changing along with the North.

The article showcases innovators—artists and architects—that are working hand in hand with local Northern community leaders to create ‘… beautiful, enduring structures that reflect the diverse, ever-changing environmental and cultural context of the North – referencing its past and preparing it for an uncertain future.’ EVOQ partner Alain Fournier speaks boldly of important changes in attitudes insofar as North-South relations are concerned.
