Enfants du Lichen : Winner of the 2022 Governor General’s Literary Award

“My hope is that Enfants du Lichen will continue on a path of collaboration and openness with others. I am happy, and above all,  I dedicate this second collection to my Innu sister, Nancy Mollen, whom I admire and love for her strength, her love and her resilience.”

Enfants du Lichen is the winner of the 2022 Governor General’s Literary Award for poetry. The author, Maya Cousineau Mollen, becomes the first indigenous woman from Quebec to win this prestigious award for a work in French. A big congratulations to our colleague and friend for the honour of this great recognition!
