Maya Cousineau-Mollen publishes a second collection of poetry: Enfants du lichen

May 31, 2022

Our colleague Maya Cousineau Mollen has published her second collection of poetry entitled, Enfants du lichen. In this work, she finds her voice in memories of the land, her culture, and her roots, as well as in body memory and the atrophied memory of History.

Join us in celebrating and congratulating Maya at the launch of her poetry book on Tuesday, June 14 at 5:30 pm at the McCord Museum Atrium.

If you would like to have your book signed by Maya, now is your chance.

Tu es née enfant de la toundra

Moi je suis un pont fragile

Tu parles au territoire, aux quatre vents

Ce langage aux sonorités lointaines

Ton visage ciselé de rides séculaires

Raconte une légende de survivance
