La Grande Ourse Residence

“La Grand Ourse”, Big Dipper in French, is a unique property, located on an exceptional site in the Eastern Townships of Quebec.

The client had a strong connection to the land, and the architectural approach was deeply rooted in the understanding of the conditions, constraints and historic value of the site.

The work included rehabilitating existing buildings from different periods, in various conditions. EVOQ worked closely with the client over an extended period of time with a commitment to the highest level of quality in preserving the natural attributes and heritage character of the site.
