Since joining EVOQ in 1998, Dima Cook has been instrumental in the firm’s development thanks to her drive and her extensive expertise in heritage conservation, construction, and project management. She established the firm’s Toronto office in 2012 and continues to direct its operations. In 2019, Dima joined EVOQ’s senior management team as a Principal and Director.
Dima has remained very active in the architectural community. She is a sought-after guest speaker and is frequently invited to participate in peer review committees. She served as the co-chair of the APT Sustainable Preservation Subcommittee on Climate Change from 2011 to 2016, and was appointed to the City of Toronto Design Review Panel as Heritage Representative in 2014. Dima was elected to the CAHP Board of Directors from 2018 to 2022, and continues to chair the Advocacy Committee focused on issues of Climate Change and Sustainability. She was also a founding member of the Montreal Chapter of Habitat for Humanity.
