EVOQ at the Mardis verts

April 16, 2013

The next Conférence des Mardis verts, organized by the Order of Architects of Quebec, will take place tonight and will be devoted to the Whapmagoostui-Kuujjuarapik Community Science Centre. The speakers will be architects Alain Fournier and Carolyne Fontaine and Warwick F. Vincent, Scientific Director of the Centre for Northern Studies, will also be joining us.

Based on an approach marked by LEED certification, the building is exemplary in terms of sustainable development and its ecological footprint is respectful of the fragile northern environment and the conservation traditions of the indigenous people.

The Mardis verts conferences are free and start at 18:30 at the Canadian Centre for Architecture in Montreal. They are preceded by light refreshments. Please note that the doors open at 17:45.

Only available in French.
