From conception to completion, Louis serves as both design architect and project manager, guiding his projects through every stage of construction. With the utmost attention to detail and commitment to his projects, Louis ensures they are meticulously conceived and executed. His thoughtfulness, diligence and his recognition of the challenges faced by Indigenous peoples plays a vital role in his projects and within his studio. He has recently contributed to several major community and airport projects, including the Isuarsivik Regional Recovery Centre in Kuujjuaq and the Rouyn-Noranda Air Terminal.

Louis believes that architecture can and should play a crucial role in the fight against climate change. As a LEED Green Associate and the head of the Sustainable Architecture Committee at EVOQ, Louis strives to develop practices within the firm that will support the achievement of this goal.

Louis joined EVOQ in 2016 after obtaining a master’s degree in architecture from the Université de Montréal. His final Master’s project on homelessness and the inclusion of the Inuit community in Montreal solidified his interest in Inuit culture and the territory of Nunavik, and set the stage for the professional mission that he passionately pursues today.
