EVOQ is honoured with two Cornerstone Awards

October 28, 2013

In recognition for its excellence in heritage rehabilitation, EVOQ was recently presented with two Cornerstone awards by the Heritage Canada Foundation.

The first prize is for our contribution to the Harbour Commissioners Building, also known as 357 de la Commune Ouest, in Old Montreal;  the other, for our rehabilitation and restorativework on the old Jean Talon Station in Montreal’s Park Extension.  After years of neglect, both buildings have been restored to their past glory and rehabilitated for new uses.

In 2013, the Heritage Canada Foundation launched the Ecclesiastical Insurance Cornerstone Awards for Heritage Building dedicated to the regeneration of heritage buildings and sites, to bring national attention to exemplary commercial and institutional projects, and to recognize its contributors.
