Rosanne Moss
Rosanne is a founder of EVOQ. For over four decades, she has led the interior design of innumerable projects across Canada, ranging in scale and complexity from the Interim House of Commons on Parliament Hill Ottawa, to residential projects. To each, she brings her substantial design talents and exacting eye for detailing and coordination. Her work is characterized by a high degree of authenticity in period finishes and by a remarkable dedication to seamlessly integrating contemporary services and infrastructure. Rosanne’s capacity to perform at a detailed level is matched by her capabilities in heritage planning. She has authored numerous heritage character studies and architectural integration guidelines for institutions and historic districts in Montreal, Ottawa and Toronto. Three projects that best illustrate her design and project management abilities are the Interior Design of the West Block, Parliament Hill Ottawa; the Reconstructionist Synagogue in Montreal and the interior finishes and recent upgrade of the interiors of Westmount Public Library. Her extensive portfolio of residential projects, both renovations and new construction, are available upon demand.
From 2014 -2017, Rosanne served as President of the Canadian Association of Heritage Professionals (CAHP) and in 2018, she received the Canadian Association of Heritage Professionals Lifetime Achievement Award for her extraordinary contribution to heritage conservation during her distinguished career.
Rosanne is a graduate of the McGill University School of Architecture and has a Master’s degree in Heritage Conservation from the Université de Montréal, as well as a Bachelor of Science from McGill University and a Diploma in Theatre Design from the National Theatre School of Canada. She is a Fellow of the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada.
